Information, not advice

Everything on this site, including our insights and the investor calculator, is general information. It isn't financial, investment, mortgage, tax or legal advice, and it doesn't take your circumstances into account. Take advice from a qualified professional before you make a decision.

We make introductions. Mortgage and currency advice comes from the FCA-authorised firms we introduce you to. Legal and tax advice comes from independent solicitors and accountants.

Calculator results are estimates, based on the figures you enter. Figures about our own homes describe the homes and dates stated, and don't predict how any other property will perform. Property values and income can go down as well as up.

No offer

Nothing on this site is an offer to buy, sell or let a property, or an offer of any financial product. Any property we discuss is subject to contract and availability. If you work with us, a separate written agreement sets out the service and our fees, agreed before any work starts.

Accuracy and changes

Our articles show the date we last reviewed them. Laws, tax rates and markets change, so information can go out of date, and we can't promise that everything on the site is complete and correct at every moment. We may change or remove content at any time, and we don't promise the site will always be available.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed.

Using the site properly

Please don't misuse the site, for example by trying to get into parts of it that aren't public, overloading it, adding harmful code or sending spam through its forms.

Our content

The text, photographs, design, logo and calculator on this site belong to us or to the people who let us use them. You may view, print and share pages for your own use. Please don't copy, republish or use them commercially without our written permission.
